Finding OutA Poem by Systemic ApathyBasically an old poem. I was probs about 15 whe I wrote this. Typical teen angsty stuff.Iv'e found a way to fall apart Without you noticing I'll do it right in front of you And you won't see a thing. So, when all this is over, And the damage has been done How do know that when I turn my back You won't just turn and run?
I've found a way to hide the pain So that you couldn't see You think I'm well but all I've done Is push it deep inside of me The cuts, the pills and all the skills It tookn to hide the pain Have to be brought back to me And readied once again.
I've found a way to create Another Frankenstein I'll add and take, and sew and cut At everything of mine And when my monster does awake I'll treat it like my child But you can't create the perfect mother Out of only half a smile. © 2008 Systemic Apathy |
