Forest and CityA Poem by SydneyLKAnother 100 word piece.I found the notes all torn up on the stone wall. Nothing could explain them. Lord knows I can't do it here. They were soggy, the ink ran, indecipherable after all the rain. The birds twittered over head, way up the tall, skinny maples. Can you explain? What’s there to fear? This was inescapable, unmanned drone evil. It carried with me everywhere I went, forest, city, you can’t shake it. It was spring chewing at the foundation. This revolution wasn’t televised, but it won’t be forgotten when we lose it all. It’s much too far to crawl. On your knees.
