Fallen Glory.

Fallen Glory.

A Poem by SyN

Fallen from the skies above.
Fallen for a sinful love.
How can a kiss be such a sin?
Her old life is over, so her new must begin.
Her lips of blood, her tearstained face,
badges of her fall from grace.

She once was a beauty of sensual powers,
now she sits alone, counting the hours.

She made a mistake for which she must pay,
she feels sorrow, remorse, regret, every second, every day.

Her purity she willingly sold,
her wings of this tale told;
blacker than pitch, blacker than sin,
all because of the love she was in.

Close your eyes
and lend yourself to her story.
Listen to her weep of
Fallen Glory.
