First Words

A Poem by Lee Tran
"

What it be like to be a father one day...

"

Nimble fingers, take hold of a tree trunk--
gripping tight as it breathes slowly
with each heartbeat, opening it's mouth
like a yawning bear; forming the word

Daddy...
