Poems we never wrote

Poems we never wrote

A Poem by Symplydymple

Most admired of all are the flowers that blossom only in our minds.
Oo the many thoughts that were never put into action,
Several little works that never saw the face of a paper.
The whispers that would have been sweet are the ones we never heard.
Who knows if the ones we discarded wouldn't have been the sweetest.
How sweet the songs are; those that were unsung!
Such is life; to admire what we usually do not get.
Perhaps all of us march onto this world's stage
Reciting the poems we never wrote.

This is a lovely theme...subtle and yet so precious for every poet who reads it..
Several little works that never saw the face of a paper.
The whispers that would have been sweet are the ones we never heard.
yes there are many whispers that die in the mind before they reach paper..cause they are like ephemeral sparks..sometimes they get lost to you before you can elaborate on it..
i wish you would have detailed this more..but this way too..it is as soft and lovely as a soft petal of a flower.

Brilliant. Elegant, and beautiful. It is true. The unwritten poems, the unsung songs these are what represent our life.
