Oh Bright

Oh Bright

A Poem by Symplydymple

I speak a few words into her ears
And she lights up her face with a smile.
I smile back and begin to chatter on.
She keeps silent and with an angelic voice
She whispers, "oh Bright"

I tell her the truth about my feelings
And she accepts with a giggle.
I ask if she really loves me
She lets out a sound of glee.
Then she whispers, "oh Bright"

She marvels whenever I speak
Wondering if I really belonged on earth
She is happy that I am different
That is why when she is lost for words
She whispers, "oh Bright"

My whole body freezes in ecstasy
When I receive the bliss of her words.
Her charm, her beauty, her grace
All become vivid
When she whispers, "oh Bright"

All her feelings are wrapped in those words.
It describes the joy and excitement that strikes her
When she hears me speak.
I can tell that she longs to be in my arms
When she whispers "oh Bright"

Someday when i am finally hers,
Tears of joy will flood her eyes.
She will hug me and hold me tight.
Then with that charming voice,
She'll whisper, "oh Bright"
