Megalopolis

Megalopolis

A Poem by Sylvia
"

About a big city. It's been published.

"
Megalopolis
The cavernous bands of streets
Intertwine their black latticework
Under the glut of glass and chrome.
A cacophony of fireworks
Ricochets off the skyscrapers:
While below the Lilliputians
Roll and gyrate,
Wing-footed race
Who knows where!

Jonathan Swift would appreciate the imagery in your mysterious wordplay - short, but imaginative read and great share... :-)

This is really good, flows nicely as well, Found it a little humorous though, wing-footed race and who knows where? makes me wonder.
