Before lashing me with hate understand

Before simmer bitterness reckon your miscalculations

I commend my spirit

Before summoning your troops I bow

welcomed your splendid vow

closing all memento closets of our cryptic lives

and our glinting past that scare us with knifes

we pulled through though

we bleed scars

bruises evident as the sun

We succumbed failures so success taste sweater

Like gladiators we came alive

before you I present our chronicles

our past manacles

bonds we share

broke away from me I present shutters of glass to you

that mingled together solidly turned grains

kaleidoscopically distributed atoms

this is glue

i like how this poem focuses more on the successes than the oppression....hate never wins in the end....
love and forgiveness triumph...4th line in second stanza...i read that with "knives"---

but some powerful sentiment...with some different images..the glue...mend them together...nice.

Immensely powerful, colourful words, finely put. Combined history hinted: perhaps settling a past event that proved difficult, perhaps an apology?

Perhaps the word 'sweater' should read ' sweeter'?
