I need a mentor my...brain in space

where words fail to respond nor correspond

and frequencies fail to provide a trace nor a trail

this English that grow thinner

seem to dissolve to a dimension of no gravity

and favour shrink and lost in the galaxy and myriads

stars.

please...

light a candle maybe I'm lost but not forever gone

for

it is a hand that loves which helps

and by god's grace I will reach out

We all want a mentor, a hand to guide us, a body to push us forward, a friend that is wild with wisdom. But I ask why do we want such a person? Do we need such a human?

For me the answer hides in our aptitude for work and our desire of consistency and most importantly the fear of failure. We humans have the distasteful tendency to search for easy paths, we look for medicine while the cure lies within time, we hope that the drug works when it only meant to do harms.

Your poem is simple and real. The hidden impression is emotional. thank you for sharing
