Lost

Lost

A Poem by silentLIGHT
"

English version of the dutch one called Verdwaald

"
A grey teint surrounds me,
I know I'm not yet lost.
Swallowed whole by what the rain carries in,
This thing will stay afloat.

Even if the waves come crashing,
and by the winds I'm cast astray.
I know I'm not yet lost.

A light shines in the distance,
i'ts blinding all the same.
While there's no one here to see.
It doesn't shine for me.

Even when the skies come tumbling,
and you'll never see my face.
I know I am not lost.

The refrain works very well. Great words.
