Hunger Games Poem

Hunger Games Poem

A Poem by Sydney Ellen
"

After reading the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, I was really inspired. So I wrote this.

"

The fire is blazing forwards

Too threating to be tamed.

Let us go towards war.

And seek our righteous Fame.

For we are the Winners.

We are the Victors.

We are the Survivors

We are the Sinners.

Author's Note

Sydney Ellen
1st Part: Describes how President Snow used Katniss' famous nickname, "the girl who was on fire", to describe the rebellion that was happening.
2nd Part: Describes the bond of the Tributes. Well, there was a kill/love-then-have-to-kill bond. Either way. You get it.

Tell me what you think. If you hate it, tell me. But tell me why you hate it.
Thanks.
Hope you enjoyed it.

Simple words, a world of meaning. I especially like the first half. Good work.
