Made You Mine

Made You Mine

A Poem by Sydney Biddles
"

When he loses interest.

"

My edges are not as sharp to you.

I've become dull to you.

My words don't slice right through you like they used too.

I'm afraid I've carved you all wrong.

I should have made you beautiful.

Instead I made you mine.

WOW!! Now that is short and powerful! This is one of the best poems I have read here on Writer's Cafe.
It literally made me ache. (strange...I know) You accomplished in 6 lines what some cannot convey in a lifetime. Simply wonderful!
