Strength from Within

Inside myself is a warrior, waiting to break out.

Before acceptance all I felt was pure and simple doubt.

As realization sinks tonight, as clear as it can be,

In no time he'll be ready with a little from me.

 

Inside myself is a warrior, hoping to be let free.

It's there for just one purpose, and that's to protect me.

All it needs is a little coaching, and perhaps some good advice,

Soon enough that part of me will be a safe device.

 

Inside myself is a warrior, wondering where to go.

Waiting only to defeat the lowest of the low.

That warrior will come, and soon you all will see,

When I need security that warrior is me.
