build he has brown skin, shoulder length jet black hair, dark eyes, and strong chin.

Jena: When?

Falling Star: In a month.

Jena: Alright well can I go to the stream and get cleaned up?

Falling Star: Of course, but take a blanket with you to cover your wound from the sun.

Jena lifts the flap of the tipi and goes outside. She notices a few Indians are watching her go down to the

stream, Jena knows that they are probably don't trust her maybe she'll run again. Jena makes it to the stream.

Jena goes in and swims around for ten minutes then gets out, she goes a little up from stream and sits down, she

takes the blanket and puts it over her leg. Jena lies down in the warm sun. Jena lays there for about twenty

minutes and then gets up and takes the blanket with her. Night-wolf is watching her. Jena goes into the tipi.

Falling Star is there.

Falling Star: Are you alright?

Jena: I'm fine.

Falling Star: Good, White Feather, will be back to put more medicine on your leg.

Jena: Alright, so what do you do for fun around here?

Falling Star: Fun?

Jena: You know at night.

Falling Star: We dance around the fire.

Jena: Well, that's good, what about music?

Falling Star: Music, what is that?

Jena: Drum, flute, or a violin.

Falling Star: Oh yes, drums and flute we do have, but no violin.

Jena: Well, that's a start.

Falling Star: Get some rest.

Falling Star leaves the tipi. Jena lies down for about ten minutes and White Feather comes into the tipi and puts medicine on her leg.

White Feather: Do you remember what happened to you?

Jena: No.

White Feather: Alright, well get some rest, I will see you tomorrow.

Jena: Hi.

Black Hawk: We are to be married in one week.

Jena: What happens if I don't marry you?

Black Hawk: We will kill you.

Jena: Well, what if I like some other Indian?

Black Hawk: Impossible!

Jena: No, it's not.

Black Hawk: I will go get the Chief and you tell him yourself.

Jena: Good, go get the chief.

Black Hawk: We shall see about that, after you talk to the Chief.

Jena: Good, now go!

Black Hawk leaves the tipi and goes to to find the Chief

Five minutes later Chief Soaring Eagle comes into Jena's tipi

Chief Soaring Eagle: I heard you wanted to see me, Jena.

Jena: Yes, I would like to get to know another Indian that is here.

Chief Soaring Eagle: Who might that be?

Jena: His name is Night-wolf, although I know he is to be married to someone else.

Chief Soaring Eagle: You want to get to know my son?

Jena: I didn't know he was your son.

Chief Soaring Eagle: Fine, you have three days and if my son doesn't look your way you are to be marriede to Black Hawk.

Jena: Good.

Chief Soaring Eagle: Well I'll see you later.

The Chief Soaring Eagle leaves, one minute later Black Hawk comes back into Jena's tipi

Black Hawk: So what did Chief Soaring Eagle say?

Jena: I have three days, if Night-wolf doesn't look my way, than I am to marry you.

Black Hawk: Night-wolf, he is to be married to Flower Lily!

Jena: Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

Black Hawk: What is that supposed to mean?

Jena: The three days aren't up yet.

Black Hawk: Right.

                                  Black Hawk leaves her tipi

Later that evening it's seven o'clock the Indians start doing these dances around the fire and drums beating and

the people make noises and yelling.

Jena sits up and watches them from her tipi. Jena sees Night-wolf and Flower Lily dancing.

Five minutes later she see's horses coming up fast and more Indians, but they look different then the one's

she's with. The Indians have symbols on their arms and different colored feathers in their headbands. The horses

are also painted with differnt colors and symbols. White Feather, Red Crow and Falling Star go into Jena's tipi.

Jena: Alright.

White Feather, Red Crow, help her out of the back of the tipi. Falling Star comes out of the tipi

Jena: White Feather!

Jena grabs White Feather's tomahawk out of his hand and she throws it and it hits the enemy Indian in the chest.

White Feather: You just saved my life. With a shocked look on his face.

Jena: Yeah, but you don't owe me anything, you healed my leg.

White Feather: Where did you learn that?

Jena: I don't know.

White Feather: Well let's keep moving.

Falling Star: Red Crow, look out!

Red Crow throws his tomahawk and hits the enemy in the back, the enemy Indians retreat. Jena looks behind

her and Jena sees Night-wolf standing there.

Jena: Are you okay?

Night-wolf: I'm wounded.

Jena: Where?

Night-wolf: My back.

Jena goes up to Night-wolf and she looks at his back, she notices it's been cut with a tomahawk

Jena: Red Crow! White Feather!

Red Crow and White Feather go over to Night-wolf

White Feather: Night-wolf?

Jena: His back is cut.

White Feather: Come on Night-wolf, I will put medicine on that wound.

Red Crow: Come on Jena.

Jena: Alright.

Red Crow takes Jena back to her tipi

Red Crow starts a fire in her tipi to keep her warm

Jena: Thank you, Red Crow.

Red Crow: You're welcome, see you tomorrow.

Red Crow leaves to go to his wife

Two days later Night-wolf goes to talk to his Father Chief Soaring Eagle

Night-wolf: Father?

Chief Soaring Eagle: What, is it my son?

Night-wolf: I want to spend more time with a girl besides Flower Lily.

Chief Soaring Eagle: Who would that be?

Night-wolf: That would be Jena, Father.

Chief Soaring Eagle: Why that's a great idea, Night-wolf.

Night-wolf: Thank you, Father.

                      Night-wolf leaves

Chief Soaring Eagle goes over to Black Hawk

Black Hawk: Chief Soaring Eagle, is everything alright?

Chief Soaring Eagle: Yes, my son will be seeing Jena.

Black Hawk: What, how can this be?

Chief Soaring Eagle: My son wants to get to know her better.

Black Hawk: Oh so what am I supposed to do step aside?

Chief Soaring Eagle: Yes.

Black Hawk: Well, we're just, see about that!

Black Hawk leaves Chief Soaring Eagle standing there

Black Hawk goes over to Jena

Black Hawk: Jena, can we talk?

Jena: Yes.

Black Hawk: Good, let's take a walk.

Jena: Alright.

Black Hawk and Jena walk and talk

Black Hawk: How about going for a ride?

Jena: No, thanks.

Black Hawk: So do you want to go back home?

Jena: No, I like it here.

Black Hawk: What's so good about it?

Jena: Look around you, Black Hawk.

Black Hawk: What is that supposed to mean?

Jena: Men, woman and children, family.

Black Hawk: Right, family.

Jena: Isn't this family important to you?

Black Hawk: It once was important.

Jena: What change your mind?

Black Hawk: Friends, that's who!

Jena: Did someone do something to hurt you?

Black Hawk: Yes, someone I thought would be there not take something away I really wanted.

Jena: Who could do such a thing?

Black Hawk: Well for starters Night-wolf.

Jena: What, did he take from you?

Black Hawk: For starters someone very special to me, Golden Flower.

Jena: Golden Flower?

Black Hawk: Yes, Night-wolf's sister.

Jena: That's not very nice of him but maybe he had a good reason.

Black Hawk: You're right it's not bery nice of him at all but what could be the reason he wouldn't want me to be with his sister?

Jena: So what are you going to do about it?

Black Hawk: I am glad you asked, if I can't have you than no one can!

Jena: What?

Black Hawk takes out a knife

Jena: Huh!

Black Hawk: Come here!

Jena takes off running from Black Hawk.

Black Hawk: You can run but you sure can't get rid of me!

Jena keeps running. Flower Lily see''s Black Hawk chasing her and hopes Black Hawk will kill her.

Black Hawk: Get back here!

Just than Night-wolf comes riding up fast on his horse, Night-wolf jumps and lands right on top of Black Hawk.

Black Hawk: Get off me!

Night-wolf: Fine!

Night-wolf gets off Black Hawk, Night-wolf see's the knife and throws it

Black Hawk: What did you do that for?

Night-wolf: So I can do this!

Night-wolf punches Black Hawk in the face. Flower Lily is very disappointed that Night-wolf got involved saving

Jena. Black Hawk throws another punch and hits Night-wolf in the stomach. Jena just watches them fight. Night-

wolf picks up a rock and hits Black Hawk in the head with the rock.

Black Hawk: Huh!

Than Black Hawk hits Night-wolf in the back where the tomahawk hit him a couple of days ago. Night-wolf goes

down to the ground.

Jena: Night-wolf!

Black Hawk: You be quiet!

Jena: No!
