Gypsy Heart

written a long time ago

The snows have come, its time to go

The road it calls my name

New town, new friends, new enemies

Never quite the same

Don't know what I'm running from

But I'd better make a start

Don't be sad, it isn't you

Its just my gypsy heart

I had a love so long ago

We swore it to the end

So nice to never be alone

To truly have a friend

But end it did as all things do

And we sadly had to part

I had another road to take

To ease my gypsy heart

Alone again I take my leave

And head on down the road

Don't know how I ended up

With such a heavy load

Guess I like to leave when things are good

Before they fall apart

Wonder if I'll ever lose

This lonely gypsy heart
