Empty Road

Empty Road

A Story by Lynxter

The empty road hangs ahead of me, like a poisonous snake. Watching, waiting, to gobble me up and swallow me in its depth of emptyness and ruins. I can not go back, and I shall not. I keep my head high as a walk in to the oblivion, as darkness closes around me.
