The Moonlight Dance

The Moonlight Dance

A Poem by Lynxter

The moon shined down upon the still flower,

A wide smile etched on her face

as she slowly reached downward

with her long, intricate hands,

exposing the shimmery glow from her radiant skin

The flower, not used to her exposure,

elongated his arms, and spiraled upward,

they entertwined their arms and legs,

as the moonlight wrapped the flower with her warmth

and so the moonlight dance began

Very beautiful and blissful write... I have a fascination with the moon and your poem does it justice.

Very interesting poem. I wonder if it has to do with thigmotropic flowers? Heh.
