IndignationA Poem by Jennifer SmallsYour voice, your fickle mind... It makes me scream. I scream from inside out, With no noise escaping my mouth. Indignation closes my eyes, Tired. I am so tired of screaming, Pretending to tolerate this. My heart is heavy with the rubbish. You've gathered it, And I've hauled it along - Weighing down our drawn out affair.
