Something

A Chapter by Norma M Sutton
"

A short descriptive bit to be worked into the Haunting Memories series sometime at a later date

"
Feet shuffled outside my window, the sound of the flock bedding down for the night.  Soft wuffling noises between ewes and lambs, water trickling over rocks, insects singing, the high shrill call of a screech owl and the soft whisper of the wind rustling through the beech tree leaves, all sounds of comfort.  Settling deeper into the pillow and breathing a deep cleansing breath the comfort of the night flow into my conscious, cleansing my subconscious from the daily stress until, floating on the wind, I drifted into sleep.

This is all really wonderful just on its own. It creates a very soothing and peaceful feeling. I really like it. Expanded it would create a wonderful piece of writing, I think.
