Dull and drab it started
Its redeeming feature
The print ingrained

Slow and hesitant

Washed and rinsed
Its new colors flowed
Until fabulous it showed

Hanging on the line to dry
A new hew to surprise
Drawing forth an oh MY

Brilliant transformation, poem brilliant in its brevity.
It's so satisfying to make something drab into something fab, its renaissance of sorts!
