Extreme Measures

Tongue in cheek look at the measure a cat person will go to in rescuing her cat from a tree and yes . . . I did indeed cut the tree down lol

Up the tree she ran
At the top she yowled and yowled
Two days and a night
























On second morning
At wits agonizing end
Extreme measures call

Worried I decide
Approach the tree with a saw
After a hour

On the ground again
Running in a mad mad dash
Sissy home at last

Wearily I walk
To return the old handsaw
Poor choice to cut trees





























I learn from beaver
To nibble base all around
Then I learn from bear

Push and shake and shove
Until at last the tree falls
Sissy jumps and runs

The tree in the top photo is her normal climbing tree. I can get her out of it lol.
