Poem from a old competition.

Look out my window
What do I see
A yellow cat
 Laughing at me

Out by the tree
She prowls around
Chasing a squirrel
When it comes to the ground.

Then on to a bird
That comes swooping down
To taunt her laughing
As she crouches down

Outside my window
Running up the tree
That ole yellow cat
Stares in laughing at me.

Author's Note

Found a old Artist Proof from a contest I entered way back about the time I was working on Matthew's Legacy. I was trying to work on the book and had a cat playing outside the window. It was one of those were they want you to buy a book to have it published deals.
