Judas Iscariot

Judas Iscariot

A Chapter by Norma M Sutton
"

Team Renfield I am going to give you a prompt that is close to the heart of the group. I would like you to write about your favorite supporting character.

"
For thirty pieces of silver he sold
His Master's broken trust foretold
Playing into evils hands
His betrayal sly not bold

Hidden in darkened shadows
With a kiss he greets the Master
A kiss that sealed his fate
The enemy thinks he has won

but . . .

In his sly betrayal brings
New life and choices to all that follow
If they choose to believe
and . . .

The Master Follow

Proving that . . .

No matter how horrendous the deed
Good can from it arise
So joyously we rise
Singing praises to the skies

Author's Note

Norma M Sutton
I read very little fiction anymore. Mostly technical farming, knitting, weaving, etc manuals. This is the closest I could come to a supporting role.

Everyone has it's place in the world in keeping balance in the world... even the bad can bring out he best in the good by motivating them to do better. A very interesting piece of reading.

I would like to say that this author seems to know more about singing praises to God than 90% of the 'flock'.

What a marvel of a poem. I think you knocked this out of the park Norma! Loved this poem. What a character you chose.

Oh Naked One, you make me laugh. This is a very interesting choice, not one I suspected at all! Renfieldians unite!
