A Lady

A Lady

A Poem by Norma M Sutton
"

I am blessed

"
He treats me like a lady
With voice soft and low
The sparkle in his eyes
Dances bright and slow

He treats me like a lady
Hands gentle yet tough
The timber of his voice
Adds the perfect touch

He treats me like a lady
Catches my every fall
Hearing ears hear every word
When to him I call

He treats me like a lady
Each and every day
His kind and gentle words
Building back broken trust

He treats me like a lady
I'll never know why
. . .
but

His ever caring presence
Draws me near
Weakening my knees
Binding my heart

He must be very special .. and so must you ..

'He treats me like a lady ~ Hands gentle yet tough ~ The timber of his voice ~ Adds the perfect touch'

A poem that says as much about you as it does about him, loving, caring - honest.
