Just A Little Bite

Just A Little Bite

A Poem by Norma M Sutton
"

Just a twisted fish story for the twisted season

"
Lean close to me
This won't hurt a bit
Just a little nibble
Upon your alabaster neck

Lean closer to me still
Into the water lean
Come down from the hill
Bathe and be clean

Lean in closest yet
Into your eyes I peer
For we have not yet met
Let me whisper in your ear

Lean down to waters edge
With closed eye and parted lips go
Step out on a ledge
Lets not take it slow

Into the water lean
I want to see you too
My face you've not yet seen
As I leap forth and scream BOO

I think someone has been watching "River Monsters" on TV. This one looks like that giant cousin of the pirahna. One thing's for sure, I'd leave the hook in its mouth and just cut the line. I ain't stickin' my fingers in there. Nice writing as always, Norma.
