"They tell me I've always been a fighter, that I take after my namesake, my Great, great, great Grandmother Anna O'Toole. I don't know, I just know that I always wished I hadn't inherited her bright red hair.

This woman I see in the mirror can't be me. She is a stranger that appeared overnight. Those bright green eyes that stare back at me sparkle in excitement and fear. They shine nearly as bright as the coppery tendrils floating around her face. Who is this woman staring back at me? She has a elegance and beauty that I've never had. Is this how others see me?”

“Aunt Anna! Aunt Anna!

Twin voices surrounded me pulling me from my reverie. Zachery's bright red curls caught the wind, bouncing in his excitement. Melody's dark braid bumped down the center of her back, keeping time with her skipping. Uncle Mattie's twin miracles.

“Ouch, my toes!”

Zachary's arms wrapped around my legs

.

“I sorry aunt Anna, poor toes.”
