![]() OutcastA Poem by Norma M Sutton![]() thoughts from the edge of sleep![]() That which I was raised to know Looks at me suspiciously Filling me with woe
That ancient line Whos draw I feel At least is kind
But see my suspicious past Kind faces with sadness frown Cruel was the die cast
Cut adrift from moor and port Silently I drift past Heart and soul set up a fort
Understand both sides well Outcast past and future Down a lonely path I sail
Nary side to wish me well Journey toward the setting sun Hidden stories I'll never tell
For I am Outcast Outcast Outcast
