The richest lessons come from the most unusual of places and the greatest memories come from the simplest of moments... Very creative way to express that.
If anyone had told me that one could use a frying pan as a theme for a poem, I'd not have believed it, but, you have and given it a kind of life. Not sure of what happened before you wrote this, your home caught fire maybe, don't know, but whatever happened it obviously dug into you very deeply.

Unassuming and small
Made large by its lingering
Writing on the wall'
Cool! The things we lose in the fire along with the things that do not perish. I like this because it wasn't just a frying pan. It became much more for me.
