Once upon a time

When the sight of a mill was common

The world was silent and new

Love moved

And left its mark left on every heart

The secret of life

To be watched with open eyes

Life was sometimes painfully honest

Wounds were jagged and raw

But to court life meant facing it, the good, the bad, and the painful.
