So Strong

So Strong

A Poem by Victoria Magana
"

For my loved one

"

Never have to say a word,
Words never did any good,
But you use your actions,
A soft look,
A cool, fleeting but perfect touch,
You help me when I need it most,
Even though I hide it,

You're there for me,
As I am there for you,
But you are so much stronger, You quietly listen,
As my angry feelings,
Leek from me,
Like blood from a fatal wound,

But you stop the bleeding,
With a simple hug,
Or a loving, passionate kiss,

Oh the heart that beats,
Cries in a feeble attempt to be heard,
You hear it,
As it screams for release,
You release the true me,
Blind, loving,
Confused and innocent,

You are a part of my soul,
My lover,
So much stronger than me,
So strong,
My loving King of my Hearts.

I particularly liked the start of this poem, with the seemingly contrasted irony of words haveing no use, but then being used to convey such a feeling. i liked that.
