Monster

Monster

A Poem by Sweet Emotions
"

This isn't personal. I wrote it after watching a show and in that episode there was a little girl who had been sexually abused by her dad.

"
Do you feel powerful now
As she screams in her sleep
Are you happy now
You've burned her heart so deep
Instead of childhood there's hatred
Burning inside
Fully dressed and alone
She still feels naked

You're left her unfixable
Monster
Are you proud of what you did to her?
Monster
If only someone could help her

Looking in the mirror every morning
Bruises all covered up
Looks at the family in her drawing
Prays for help from above
God doesn't hear her
But soon her might meet her
If this monster doesn't stop mistreating her

She's still unfixable
Monster
Look at what you've done to her
Monster
If only someone could help her

Look at her, broken young girl
Forced to feel alone in the world
Look at the trauma you put her though
Monster
Your daughter will never forgive you
