Raindrops fall gently Playful winds tickle tree branches All is quiet. The world is at peace This beautiful night. Some stars shine through the mist, Few cars interrupt the silence. I lay outside as the rain slows Dreaming about nothing. Lazy and calm The rivers run over rocks Eternally changing shape As molecules shift Racing down the riverbed Into the ocean far away. The ocean reflects the stars The same stars shining through the mist here, The same stars great grandchildren will see Many years from now. Still shining bright Guiding children at play And sailors at sea. A comet shoots by Illuminating the eternal sky. Will great grandchildren see This comet sail? Lighting up the sky Playing games with the stars? Or will there be new ones Old ones flown away While the stars watch and dream. Dream as I do, Laying outside tonight Watching the raindrops fall.
Oh so beautiful and it was like a breath of fresh-air - such a calming piece. I enjoyed reading it and as to your flow of writing I loved that I sort of 'thought-dreamed' this as I was reading it picturing everything you wrote and I thought it flowed beautifully because it was as if you were reading a part of a book and thinking to yourself in this piece so I liked it very well. :) Great write!
There is no particular flow to this poem . It's too free-flowing for me to actually understand your point . But other than that it is good . It's more or less like you are just typing sentences and putting them in lines
