Horses and Wind

Horses and Wind

A Poem by Sweet Emotions
"

I love my horse, Dillon.

"
Wind in my hair
Hay on the ground
Four long brown legs
Trotting around
Stirring up dust
That I just brushed off
But I don't mind at all
While I sit in your saddle
And you stand in the ring
Thrills go through me
At just being here today
Riding around and around
Creating new paths in the dust
Playing follow the leader
While you catch your breath
When we're done for the day
You are free in the fields
Eating and playing
With a friend at your heels
No more reins or bridals
Just the wind in your hair
And four brown legs
Just standing there
