Sweet 16

Sweet 16

A Poem by Sweet Emotions

Party dresses sparkle

Sweet 16 balloons lining the wall

The girl, she danced

Danced like there was not a thing to worry about

Sailing, soaring around the floor

The other girls danced too

But they looked like crows

Next to the flamingo

Dressed in blue

If only I’d had the courage

To ask for her name

This was simple and sweet. Brings back some memories and that's the best kind of writing :)
