Locked up and Letting Go

Locked up and Letting Go

A Poem by sweetdreamz512
"

The very thin line between love and hate, despair and truth.

"

I was ravished and it rained

A thought now of the daze

Hit me like a brick

Battered and bleak

Little comes of tantalizing

That which has demised in

A mind deranged and scorned

You locked me in the home

A safety call you may regret

I choke the very thought of it

And my heart flutters in spite of it

Working past the sarcasm

You ever thoughtfully played

Questions of intentions they are yours and mine

Weather it grew strong and whether we declined

We pray in a distant light

My love stolen and unbridled

Will distance grow and heal a graze

Of the hearts decay and withered phase

Thoughts I thought had passed me by

Deliberately displeased

Irony has set forth

Rain had washed away

That which set me free
