Feel it

Feel it

A Poem by Amy Beth Storey

Beauty is erotic,

Rough around the edges;

A draft of something that will be great.

It is simple, unique,

Defined by the creator.

It is unpredictable;

With an amazing story behind it all.

It has feeling and life,

A hidden meaning meant to be sought out.

Or left to the imagination.

Beauty is not just seeing,

It is believing;

It is feeling.

Feel the heartache, the confusion

The message that is silently screaming.

Feel the beauty here.

...and is so often times, invisible to the eye.

Nice work so as to make me think.

Yes, true beauty resides within... indeed.
Where it can be felt , not seen.

This is a wonderfully penned poem!

Beauty is not just seeing,
It is believing;
It is feeling.
Feel the heartache, the confusion
The message that is silently screaming.
Feel the beauty here."

This sums it up quite well, and what a perfect ending!
"Feel the beauty here" Bravo! Nicely done!!

wow, powerful. I really felt the "call" out of this poem. The way you described beauty was truly well done. I enjoyed reading this. Thank you

Ah, yes. You described beauty, but I think you also described love a little as well. A good poem. I don't think I love this one as much as the other two you entered, but very nice, as always. This is why I always make sure you know about my contests!!
