Don't Worry About The Tone Of This Poem, This Is Really Old Work Back From My Darkest Days.

She sits alone

Feeling the regret

Shattered inside

Wishing you were well

Knowing she hurt you

Wishing she hadn't

But sorry won't cut it

Will it?

She just wants you to know

She loves you so much

She only left for a moment

Because honestly she wants to spend

Forever with you

But she just wanted to do

What people told her was right

Not to waste her life

On just one person

To experience more to life

Before giving her heart away forever

And yes she is selfish

She knows that too well

She was hoping you would understand

Because if you open your heart and mind

She will come back

For you, forever

Because she is in love

Haven't you ever wanted

To do one last thing

Before you couldn't anymore

What if you knew

You would never have the chance

To be like a normal teen

If you didn't take it now

What would you do?

She thought she knew what she was doing

But she knows you must be hurting

And that hurts her

So she cuts at herself

Inside and out

crying

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry"

But sorry won't cut it
