Solo Flight

Solo Flight

A Poem by Rachelle
"

inspired by Bhavana

"
In our hearts the longing stays
A soul's cry for better days.
When love was in the palm of our hands
Readily we faced our lives' demands.
Things don't last the way we want them to be
Tides change as waves ebb into the sea.
And so, on these roads of dirt and stone
Bravely we must trudge our lifelong path alone.

There are times we need to take a journey with someone. But there are chances, too, that taking the road alone would be more helpful for everyone.
Thanks for sharing this reflective piece.
