"I know nothing greater than this:
You set me free
Because you love me."
The poem led to the true statement above. Love set things free. Don't lock them in. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

Being in love is itself a freedom. This sweet intoxication may be is the only drug which even god recommends.
But the poem gives glimpses of an unusual love story as well.

Well… we all have to live with it. Thank you for reading.
This reminds me of my grandfather's pigeons, usually kept in a cage except for some hours in which they'd be allowed to fly. We released them all after his death, and they continue to come back to this day (it's been years). I imagined these thoughts to originate from their brains, muddled with both confusion because they were never allowed to fly, a hint of terror because they did not know the skies as well as a wild pigeon, and a hint of pain because they took it as: "we don't want you anymore," even though it was quite the contrary.
As you can see, I have a fondness for birds, aha.

Used to note down species when we were gathering specimens. Pigeons are also monogamous so there is this innate sense of loyalty and fidelity in the nature of the birds.
If you haven't tried birdwatching, I suggest you do.

Interesting, though, I did not know they were monogamous. Thank you for the food for thought!
