I know what you're talking about. I used to be a Yu-Gi-Oh addict, but my memories aren't that brilliant. I remember getting ripped off trading rare cards, then learning, and eventually ripping other newbies off! I was kind of a late bloomer though. I remember playing that game when I was a junior and senior in high school. I used to duel with a neighbor in elementary school; a victim of mine. Thank you for bringing back good ol' memories. What does M.R.L stand for?

One day, I shall sit down and write something about Dragonball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist or Naruto - as soon as I can find the philosophical basis of these.... :D In the meantime, it's just watching over Crunchyroll.

I am such a pokemon fan, before, and now still a bit... the pokemon world has some good lessons on it. I guess part of being a young is dreaming, the world that is not harsh enough, to be hopeful, and just be good to animals, that I learned from watching this anime, i think... very nice tribute and poetic expression kabayan...

I remember the Pokemon craze back in school... some of the rich boys brought over their own case of Pokemon cards and challenged other children to a card battle. If the opponent is lucky, he might bring back home a rare card. I also remember the evenings where my siblings and I would rush home from the night market just to catch up with another episode of Pokemon on tv. Really loved the first movie.

My brother had the cards. I played the Nintendo DS version. We have the books, action figures and memorabilia.. A collection to hand over to the next generation.
