Touching memories of a childhood are apparent here, and I can relate so dearly, aha. Be like Pokemon and reveal your true strength, unbeknownst even to yourself, in unexpected times and situations and evolve into forms that can better withstand the adversity of life.

So true… which is why I will never get rid of my collection. Thank you, Taite!
Its so heartwarming to know that others have learned and changed and "evolved" in their own way because of one of my favorite childhood shows.

I know what you're talking about. I used to be a Yu-Gi-Oh addict, but my memories aren't that brilliant. I remember getting ripped off trading rare cards, then learning, and eventually ripping other newbies off! I was kind of a late bloomer though. I remember playing that game when I was a junior and senior in high school. I used to duel with a neighbor in elementary school; a victim of mine. Thank you for bringing back good ol' memories. What does M.R.L stand for?

AS a fellow pokemon buff in my teenage, I can definitely relate to the metaphor you've used here! there's so much unseen depth here.,, with relation to self discovery and the goal to prove oneself Certainly..there's hues of the creative kind in the scientific one ;)
Great work rachelle, cheers :)
Pokemon...is a verse...
I guess its your generation...
I missed out on Pokemon...
but your intent speaks in the lines...
of what you've learned and continue to do so...
I am such a pokemon fan, before, and now still a bit... the pokemon world has some good lessons on it. I guess part of being a young is dreaming, the world that is not harsh enough, to be hopeful, and just be good to animals, that I learned from watching this anime, i think... very nice tribute and poetic expression kabayan...
Great write, life itself is a great learning tool, and childhood and youth are the best for learning as brains and physique is too young and unadulterated mostly, well said, enjoyed
I remember the Pokemon craze back in school... some of the rich boys brought over their own case of Pokemon cards and challenged other children to a card battle. If the opponent is lucky, he might bring back home a rare card. I also remember the evenings where my siblings and I would rush home from the night market just to catch up with another episode of Pokemon on tv. Really loved the first movie.
