A graveyard walkA Poem by bobwalks through graveyards in the mid dark night not a soul around wondering what the light will have for me next its pitch black all you can see are the graves and the path you walk moonlight creeps in from behind the trees theres a soul here a soul like no others I can feel it one step after another I start to ponder ponder about certain people ponder about what they actually bring into this world I don’t need me or anyone else to bring any new light into my life it will come on its own each grave I see is like a new face a face that I will never remember when I’m older but there will always be that one face that sticks out from all the others a face that will bring light into your life with them not even trying that light I will accept and with that light I will cherish but I’ve come to a stop directly in my path moonlight reflecting off of the graves giving my path more light theres a man standing 20 feet in front of me this overwhelming feeling arose from my feet to my chest in a matter of seconds left me speechless I could die right there and be absolutely fine with it but in the next few seconds of us staring at each other I realized something I’ve come face to face with my cold dead faith © 2013 bobReviews
