Ode to Grandpa

Ode to Grandpa

A Poem by Sarah Wlochal

Oh, Grandpa my hero of all
You fought in the war
Never let a man fall.
Everyone to you, they did adore
Always were brave
Wanted to before yourself always save

Oh, Grandpa how much I loved you
Ever will you know
How much you meant.
Always ready to go
Every task to perform
Very much were adorn.

Cancer caught you
My hero you did sink
As the disease grew
You became pale instead of pink.
Before we knew it, you did die
We were right there and tried not to cry.
