When the night is dark

Stars shine

I see you in the sky

Looking down on me

 

You’re a sparkling star

In a faraway land

You look down on me

When I'm sound asleep

 

In the morning

When I wake

The light shines

In my window

 

You’re the sun

Smiling brightly

Keeping me safe and warm

During the day

 

When it rains

I sit at home

Hearing the pitter patter

Upon my roof

 

You’re the raindrops

Coming back to earth

You want me to come out

So I can feel you’re near

 

When it’s cold

It snows

I remember the day

That you drifted away

 

When I make a snowman

There you are

You come to life

In my imagination
