Put Out Of Her Misery

Put Out Of Her Misery

A Poem by Sarah Wlochal

She cries her sorrows out at night
Thinking nothing will be alright
But she holds on tight enough
Hoping to break into the light
It never seems to be enough
Because all she has in her life
Is her heart, soul
And herself
Tears of blood
Roll down her face
As she’s beaten and bruised
Until the end
She can’t get out fast enough
The world is just a burden
She kicks and screams
To be put out of her misery
One night she decides to do it
To take the knife and slit her throat
Because it is less painful
Then living in this horrible world
Now she is a beautiful angel
Floating in the heavens
Where nobody can hurt her
Because she is FINALLY perfect!
