Traveling With Fear

Traveling With Fear

A Poem by Sarah Wlochal

A displaced little girl
In a darkened world
Wishes she could fly
In silent tears
She cries with fear
Looking up to the sky
Nobody understands her
Never will
Always wondering why
Traveling on
This narrow world
Letting out a sorrowful sigh
Her  broken heart
Is giving up
Now she says goodbye
Nobody will know
That she is dead
She has been living a lie
