For A Joyous Day

For A Joyous Day

A Poem by Sarah Wlochal

There are times when sadness flies in
Just like a thundercloud in a blue sky
We make bad decisions, lives’ full of sin
All we want to do is cry
Although we cannot see behind the corner
For what is to come
Inside still is the mourner
Unaware of what will be the sum
The one who cries out
Realizes a joy that she never felt
Having no more self doubt
In a world where she wanted to melt
Sometimes preoccupied by the goodbyes we cay
Always, there will bee another joyous day.
