Impossible Conversation

Impossible Conversation

A Poem by Swagato Saha

Closed-form of still sentences wreathe,
Opaque to an other's invades,
Circle-terms on restless repeat;
Where phantom conversations wait.

While questions pace aletheia's door -
Vile the news-time tirades devour,
Gulp to echo-chambers' promised ensnare...
To discrete sounds then language tear!

And thought withdraws at new journal's wake -
At mechanisms of mannered escapes,
To verbose conceals by jargon's veil;
Lest the vacuous spills should silence spell?

(Wherein be ardent ends implied,
Unfound in time whose strange appeals,
Unsettle minds, categories collide!
So unwrit contradictions reveal.)

"What foul residue thus agitates?"
'Neath burden of propositions' decree,
Down illusive streets the somber reflect,
Then if only to truly disagree.
