Happy Teachers' Day

Like a sullen sunflower,
As she looks up to the Sun,
To blossom and bloom everyday;
Or like a stranded sailor,
As he looks up to the star,
To recover, and find his way;
Ever grateful students we are,
About to set sail any day,
And its you we look up to; Oh, Dear Teachers,
Always, to show us the way.

You are like the summer sun,
In a garden full of flowers,
Ever inspiring the forlorn,
With all the love you shower!
Or maybe like Lady Spring,
Nurturing new green sprouts,
encouraging, cheering, and heartening,
And clearing all our doubts!
Like a candle burning day and night,
Consuming itself to show us the light,
You are the ray of hope in dreary darkness,
Helping and enlightening us students.

May your teachings forever be with us,
And help us on our way to success.
Fulfill our dreams we shall one day,
For now, here's a Happy Teachers' Day!
