It Goes On...A Poem by SrinivasStreet Scene in my townPassing clouds bring rain on a Wednesday morning as I stand at a corner tea shop, sipping coffee, puffing on a ‘cancer stick,’ watching a trio of pigeons roosting in the balcony of a multi-storied building across the street. Crows fly hither and thither. I whisper under my breath and touch my heart, as a white hearse van passes through leaving behind theflavour of sandalwood !
